Fraser Hill in Pahang, West Malaysia (2003)

Fraser’s Hill, named after a Scottish trader, is a quiet and cool resort that retains colonial charm. Fraser's Hill offers visitors refreshing cool mountain air, an abundance of luxuriant vegetation, peace and tranquility.

With the cool climate, Fraser's Hill is certainly a haven for flower lovers with flower nurseries housing huge amounts of local blooming flowers, and plants. It has the distinction of housing the oldest colonial bungalows in Malaysia. Accommodations range from hotels and chalets to delightful colonial fashioned bungalows.

Attractions include pony rides, jungle trails, a nursery containing many exotic flowers and the Jeriau Waterfalls. Birds from as far as Siberia migrate here. It also has 18 hole golf course at Fraser's Hill Golf and Country Club. Facilities include tennis courts and a sport complex with a heated swimming pool as well as horse riding and angling.

IPOH (2006)

Ipoh is known to be a place that has good quality food such as famous Ipoh Hor Fun, Tim Sum , Tao Sa Piah, and aromatic white Coffee.

We visited Ipoh in 2006 and were indeed thrilled to be able to taste the famous local food which is cheap and value for money. Besides food, it has good scenery and many places of interests as follows:-

1. Tambun - The Lost World Theme Park

2. Day & Night Zoo in Taipin

3. Taipin Lake Garden - boating and picnics

4. Cave Exploration at Gua Tempurung Cave

For those going to Ipoh, you must visit the Water Theme Park , The Lost World. The water theme park is set with a backdrop of mountains and greeneries. For more information, you may check out the website :http://www.sunway.com.my/lostworldoftambun/main-tb.asp
